So this video was taken probably 3 months ago during the summer holidays. Best time to visit Lavender fields is from early July to early August. We travelled there in the 2nd week of July when the lavender are in full bloom. Hitchin is quite close to London(only around 1 hour by train) and you can travel from London Kingcross Station. When you arrive to Hitchin, hire a taxi and go straight to the lavender field, maybe have your lunch there and then go back home around 6pm.
