Making Zongzi in Anhui
Zongzi is the delicious glutinous rice treat that is wrapped with a bamboo leaf. Various fillings are included and in this case, because it was mid-autumn holiday, fresh chestnuts were used. The location was in Jingxian City, Anhui Province, China at a neighbor that lives near my friend’s house. It was so interesting to watch as the process was completed so efficiently and quickly. Zongzi are so delicious when they are fresh and homeade!
