The city of Dezhou is located in the north eastern part of China’s Shandong province. Dezhou is famous for their braised chicken 德州扒鸡 which we filmed in our last episode here: (( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9acfJNPoPLY )). After a bit more research we found out that another local Chinese food specialty of Dezhou is their lamb blood sausage aka 德州羊肠子. It’s got a very unique texture to it and is not really well known outside of Dezhou city. However, we could not resist not to add this one to our Chinese Food Tour in Shandong.
